Each one of our teams is comprised of a handler and his or her own personal dog. The handlers work diligently with their dogs to train them to have proper patience, manners, and discipline to work as a Therapy Dog. The handlers, too, must possess those qualities, as well as compassion and a heart for service. Several of our handlers have multiple dogs. For those that are certified Therapy Dogs, handlers enjoy matching their personality to the needs of the facility to determine which one goes on each visit. For those that are not certified, they are treasured members of their family, often doing other activities or competitions, or perhaps future therapy dogs-in-training.
Photos are listed in alphabetical order by the handler's first name.
